Celebrity life can be enjoyable to many a person. In fact, many people admire celebrity lifestyle. Let’s admit it. They have many fans or should I say followers. They enjoy special treatment in hotels, airports and in social places.
I have personally seen how fans scramble to take photos with Yvonne Okware Matole and Eric Omondi, when they came to the University of Nairobi, Main Campus.
Many celebrities live their life on the fast line. They have the money, the influence, the power and before long, it is all gone.

I have seen with dismay how celebrity lifestyle can be a fickle. I have seen celebrities go from glory to grass. We have seen our very own professional boxer, Conjestina Achieng’ , who was a deadly boxer in her heydays, now a destitute. The latest victim being Achien’g Abura, she did not only die of stress, but she couldn’t manage to raise 4Million shillings to take her child to UK for treatment.
In fact, the main reason Michael Jackson came back from retirement and wanted to re-launch his career at the London 02 Arena, was because he had accumulated over USD 50Million in debt. Celebrities spend money carelessly and they don’t care about tomorrow. If anything, our celebrities need personal finance training to help them order their financial lifestyle.
According to Churchill, aka Daniel Ndambuki, every person needs to ‘take good care of money, invest it and become wealthy, otherwise poverty is knocking at your door.” Churchill was speaking to Daily Nation, ‘MyNetwork’
Money comes and goes. If you take good care of money, it will take good care of you. However, if you misuse it, it will teach you a hard lesson. Invest and become wealthy, not rich. Save and enjoy later.
